Is Perfect Companion NT/XP 3.8.3 infected

I just completed a virusscan of my XP PC. I used an up to date version of the virus definitions for McAfee Virusscan:

Engine Version: 4.3.20
Dat Version: 4.0.4326
Dat File Created: 2/18/2004

It found one item: W32/Generic.worm!p2p in the file Perfect Companion for NT,XP 3.8.3 that I downloaded from MG. I am not sure if it is really a virus or not. On McAfee's Website under this virus they say:
"An incorrect identification of W32/Generic.worm!p2p was been discovered on the Secure IE and Perfect Companion applications. These identifications were corrected in the 4318 DAT files. "

Well my definitions are brand new and higher than 4318. Anyone know what's what?
Also, its strange that the Win9x and Me version of Perfect Companion 3.8.3 was not found to be infected. So if McAfee is still really falsely finding problems with Perfect Companion, why not in both versions?

Can someone check this file with some other virus scanners to see what they say?

 

G.T. That's what I suspected too but I felt it did not hurt to check and potentially warn everyone. I was going to send a message to McAfee to see what they have to say about this. I really did not believe that an infected file could slip by Major.
