    i simply cannot afford to send a recieve text messages on my own cell phone so is there a program that will let me send text messages to someones phone without needing a phone number to do it

    also will it work for cricket wireless that is my friend's cell provider

    I believe companies that do that, have a secret way of making you pay. So I'd never recommend it to anyone.
