Is there a program that identifies conflicting programs?

    Is there a program that identifies conflicting programs?

    Not that I know of, but someone else may know of one. Do you any particular programs in mind here?

    Generally, you may need to avoid multiple programs of the type that run in the background. For example, having two anti-virus programs running in the background is a bad idea; it's likely to cause conflict and cause performance issues. Likewise, with software firewalls and anti-spyware programs.

    No particular program in mind,I am aware of firewalls and anti-virus programs clashing.
    I was just hopeful there was some new power tool that could run through ones computer and identify them.
