Is there a software?

Fellow-geekers,

I was told by my brother that there is a software that can check a persons keyboard and find what are the last 100 or so entry that a person has typed on his keyboard. Is there a memory buffer on keyboards??. And if there are then how can a person delete it?? Thanks to Majorgeeks, I now use East-tec Eraser but if there is a software out there that can check the keyboard then what really good is there to just use East-Tec Eraser???

Any thoughts on this, would be appreciated..

is there? the only things that i know that can do something like that are software applications like sc-keylog2.exe which you install onto the computer and apparently runs in stealth mode so not to be seen, also there are hardware devices that you can plug onto the ps2 (i think..i think the ps2) head of your keyboard wire and then into the back of the machine.
That is the only thing that i know of.
Is that what you are talking about? cause if there is buffer for the keyboard i wna know about it.

Well there is a keyboard buffer but it doesn't buffer things for very long. If you hold down a key on your keyboard the PC will eventually complain by beeping at you - this is when the keyboard buffer is full.

But there is certainly no need to worry about that.

i have also seen hardware key loggers before. you plug it in keyboard port and then plug your keyboard to it. not much bigger than a thumb.
