Is there a spyware free Bittorrent

Is there such a thing and where do I get it??

Yes. It's the link for the original bittorrent client as written and developed by Bram Cohen. It's a very good, basic bittorrent client. I've also used Azureus, which has many features and plug-ins but is a processor hog. Right now I'm using BitTornado, and it's working nicely for me.

 

i second Bit Tornado. its very similar to the original Bit Torrent client, but it gives you some advanced options (like port selection) which i find very useful.

 

CP, long time no see etc; still getting in those Bites in the morning before the caffeine kicks in and turns it to Bytes I see.

So for a spyware free bittorrent client....either of those are good, just not the original?

 

all the ones he mentioned are spyware free. It's just later Bit Torrent Clients add nifty features the original just doesn't have. The original handles bit torrent files and thats it. So if you want a basic get the job done model, the original is your best bet. If you want puhzaz (is that even a word?) you'll have to try Bit Tornado or one of the other clients.
