is there a txt message website

hi does anyone know a txt message website i could go to besides facebook i cannot hear on phone cause i have an sinus infection and temporarily lost my hearing any suggesstions would be greatly appreciated

 

Gmail has google talk built in.
Various cell carriers have sms pages.
Skype allows text.

You might also want to try http://textem.net/. It's a way to send text messages that would normally be sent from a cell phone. You do need to know the company (Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, etc.) providing the recipients phone service. The website will send you alerts if you've received a reply from someone.
