    What I mean is...

When running a program and say you want to send a file, or attach a document, when you click, "file-attach" in outlook, it'll take you to a defaulted folder location - ie "My Documents".
Or, when running a program such as, MSN and you want to send a file, again, it takes you to, "My Documents", is there a way to set a default folder location of your own?

For MSN Messenger you can change the default location for saved files by going into the preferences then choosing the file transfer tab along the side. Not sure about Outlook sorry.

There is a Microsoft program called TweakUI, part of MS powertoys. Among it's many useful features is the option to relocate default files like My Documents. The registry could also be edited to allow this, but TweakUI is easier and safer. Versions for Win 98, ME, 2K, and XP can be found here. http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/tweakui
