Is there a way to make an iPad forget your purchased music?

I recently tapped the music app and discovered 41 songs that I'd sooner forget about. Rather than have anyone I show my iPad to discover my awful taste in music, is there any way I can get the music app to show no content, at least until I get some decent songs on there?

Thanks. I didn't know there was a section here for those.

Could a mod please move this thread?

I KIND of figured out how to do this. iTunes on the computer, down arrow to the right of my name, clicked on Purchased, all the albums I'd purchased songs from appeared in the main window. When I hovered over an album, an x appeared in the top left hand corner of it. Clicking on that brought up a dialog box asking if I wanted to hide that album. I clicked yes on each one, including the last one, but the last one wouldn't disappear for some reason, no matter how many times I clicked the x. So eventually I went into the album on my iPad, and tapped the menu to the right of the album's title that looked like three dots, and the option at the bottom of the menu said Delete. So I tapped that and the album finally disappeared. Although strangely, it was still visible in iTunes on my computer, until I accidentally signed out, and when I signed back in again, then it was gone.
