Is there anyway I could edit this out?

I took a picture that I liked, but the problem is, there's this huge reflection of a light bulb in my eye! Is there anyway I could edit it out? Or do you guys think I should crop the picture down to give it sort of an abstract feel? Or something?

I actually like it that way but if you wanted to edit out the bulb you could use a clone brush to "pick up" part of the image to cover that.

 

I have no idea how to do that. Is there a clone brush in photoshop?

Kodo moved the bulb,you took out the glare,can someone take out the eyelash reflection?

 

that would be artificial.. It looks better with the reflection in it..

 

But now that the glare is removed,it looks weird with the reflection.

 

I like the reflection of the eyelash.

All I will say is I hate it.It scares me like a person with a scar on his face,but eyes scare me more and this is like a scar on it.Glad its not for me.

 

That's a purist point of view.. what you're looking for is an object that does not reflect the physical world. I removed the bulb and left a light-source so there was still some light reference causing the reflection. The lense of the eye will always reflect when in an environment in which light is present. Without a refection, it would look artificial..aka fake.

 

At least you see what I was trying to do with the picture. I wanted it to look natural still, but that big ol' funky lightblub needed to go!

 

Removing the bulb was enough.It had a glossy look,now its worse than anakins when he becomes a sith.

 

I'm sorry, but that was mean. I understand it's not to your "liking", but that's not a reason to insult what I'm trying to do with my own picture.

 

And I should add that CaNoFzOos version is not realistic,only a small part of the actual reflection remains.

 

For your sake I will change my views.Its not scary its mystical,and its my fault that I dont like it.

 

I think there's a fine line between constructive criticism, and insulting a picture. I'm sorry but I just think you approached that wrong. *shrug*

If you really want it that way I will take it back and say your subject is too intense and the lighting is a little too bright on the right and there is some distraction within the image.

That's why I'm an amature. There's obviously going to be mistakes.

 

And I am just a spectator.My earlier apology was better,its really my fault.As kodo said I am a purist and I have not understood beauty from a wider view point,with no regards for rules beauty becomes something new.I have seen glimpses of that beauty now and then but never too often.And I hope you really do become a professional.
