Is there software to fix network errors?

    I downloaded a computer speed booster a while back and ever since I can't get VLC media player to work right. I've tried everything I can think of to get it to work properly again and VLC can't connect to my network. I don't use a firewall. I'm running windows vista 64 bit. I've uninstalled all extra software just to get down to basics and i'm still unable to solve this. :confused

    Hey ironjoe welcome, have you tried restoring the system to right before you used the system booster ??
