Is This A False Positive?

I've just tried to download Nemp 4.8.0 and all appeared to work - got it playing.
Then my virus program (Panda) informed me that it had neutralised it, and removed the shortcuts. The music continued to play, and I could not access the programme to turn it off.
Panda say that the download contains W32./Exploit.gen but the developers say this is a false positive.
I downloaded it from MG, so I think it must be ok.
    What do you think?

It is. You may have to configure Panda to white list it.
