Been looking to buy a disc image program. Fry's is selling Norton Ghost 10.0 for 70 bucks with a 50 dollar rebate, making a grand total of 20 bucks for the program. Acronis 9.0 wants 50 dollars. I know several of you use these but don't know if the preferences are stronger for one or the other. Are they both about the same when it comes to ease of use and reliability. I guess what I want to know is, are they both about the same when it comes to backing up your system? Any advice is well appreciated as always.

Norton and Acronis are both reliable, but Acronis is somewhat faster and, of course, cheaper. You'll find a lot of Acronis users here. That's how I found it.

Just Playin.....................thanks for info. Norton for 20 bucks is a lot cheaper than Acronis tho. I've a couple days before the sale is off, so I'll make up my mind over a beer tonight. Thanks again
