OK: I built a new PC and after various teething troubles I got it all working etc. I was busy downloading programs etc. and realised I didn't have Mcafee on it yet. Installed fine and then began auto updates, then Mcafee started crashing and crashing. So I reinstalled - same thing. So I thought I would reinstall windows which is when the dreaded blue screen came up.

Problem is that when I try to reinstall from the CD it is saying that it now can't see the HD, although I can see this in the BIOS etc. I don't have a 3.5 disk, but I could get one. I presume I have to get to a dos prompt and FDISK it, but how do I get to a C prompt. HELP Please.
