Is This Combo Of Programs Enought For Protection ?

Here is what I have running:

    Zone Alarm
    Antivir
    SUPERAntiSpyware

I guess I should keep Windows Defender on as well? I just completed an OS reinstall after what I believe to be an infection. I was not sure, but I could not sort it out and I was very suspicious of some PC anomalies.

So, will those programs be enough? Is Windows Defender redundant with Antivir or SUPERAntiSpyware?

    Thanks for any input.

AntiVir is my personal favorite AV program, and SUPERAntispyware is an excellent scanner/remover, but as stated above, the free version provides very little active real-time protection. It only will prevent unauthorized home-page changes. Defender doesn't really have spectacular protection, but it's better than nothing, and it seems to work well with other antispyware apps. Here's a short list of my personal faves for free spyware protection:
    Comodo's BOClean Anti-Malware
    Spyware Terminator
    WinPatrol
Spyware Blaster and Malware Immunizer are two programs that work a bit differently than other spyware apps in that they create a "black list" of web sites known to spread malware and that are malicious, and they help protect your PC from the malware that may be installed by one of the listed malicious sites. Now, I'm not 100% sure if they both work with Firefox, but I know they work great with Internet Explorer. But that brings up a good point; one of the best ways to surf safely is to use Firefox or Opera, and to stay away from Internet Explorer.
If you don't mind paying for protection, SUPERAntispyware is excellent, and so is MalwareByte's AntiMalware which is a top-notch free scanner/remover.
If you're happy with ZoneAlarm, then keep it, but, personally, I like Online Armor and the recently re-vamped Comodo Internet Security which includes Comodo's highly rated firewall and their antivirus in one app. However, you can choose to not install the AV if desired.
I hope this helps! Happy Holidays!

Text is a little dated, but applies today none the less.
Hardware firewall might help as well, we run our pc's via a wireless router, connected to a cable modem, although what happens in the airwaves is... up in the air, so to speak.:duck
