I have benn running XP home but I got XP pro yesterday. So I partitioned my drive and installed Pro on the new partition.Im just wondering is there a way to use all software like ITunes FEAR,Quake 4 Nero etc that I had installed on the C drive (XP home) on the new D drive (XP pro) without having to re install them. Thanks in advance and sorry if this seems like a stupid question.

If you just want to use XP Pro, you can upgrade your existing verision of Xp on the C: Drive and your files should remain intact. I cannot see why you would have to create a seperate partition in order to do this. Let us now if this answered it for you. :)
