i believe its called Roboform, it will allow you to store your passwords and all login info so you never have to log in again even if your cookies have been deleted

Thanks guys:) ! Everytime I try to read the description for the downloads on Majorgeeks there is a really big pop up that covers the text making it to where I cannot read what it is saying. Its really annoying me

    spybot advanced settings warning

I use Spybot all the time -- once in awhile I'm brave and I'll venture into the "advanced" mode. After reading this I went in and looked at what I had for cookies. I do remember "ignore cookies" option and Major Geeks is one that I have checked.

    1) However - when I "delete cookies" in my IE I always have to log back on to this site. So -- what am I doing wrong?

ALSO -- I don't rememer EVER going in there and checking any of the IGNORE products, dialers, etc.

    2) BUT -- there were several products, dialers and other things checked that I know I want Spybot to look for (and it has looked and found them in the past) -- but come to think of it, they haven't been found recently.

How did the box get checked? hmmmm -- call me crazy but it wasn't I.

Maybe others want to go in to those settings too periodically and "check what's checked!"

Be sure the screen is maximized. I've noticed that an ad will cover text in the dowload pages if it is not. ;)

Hi Boccemon. I did maximize the screen but the ad just stayed there... like it lived there or something. Hmmm maybe its just because I have AOL. Yes... good idea lets blame it ALL on AOL:) *claps*

You're not alone, I have noticed the very same thing. I may have absentmindedly added one or two, but not all the ones that are there

Well, I may have missed this here before -- but I'm going to start this as a new thread in the Spyware section in case it's new to others too. I'll call it like the above title "WARNING RE: Spybot advanced settings"

Agree with Star17. I wipe them every day and log on again if I need to. Not smart enough to figure out ZA settings like Cowboy so I wipe them all.

    I suggest Cleanup! http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=990
    and
    EmpTemp http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=1575
and CrapCleaner, as recommended in earlier posts in this thread. These 3 will keep your PC clean as a whistle. They are all free and don't conflict with each other. Bazza
