Is this site 100% safe

Today just sat geeking away looking through the posted threads as usual, and about 4 or 5 threads were supposed to posted by a noobie named "yhwh" when i clicked on them i was redirected to the threads, but they where written by the normal people that i know of on this site, so what i done was clicked on the name to check their profile and was then redirected to other people i:e Chaslang, hrlow2,wildwolf,billcc66, and timw lets shed some light on this or can you explain to me what was happening, bcos it really confused me ! confused

Hi there Halo the threads where there and fairly new ones too but this yhwh was strange too bcos as i said if i clicked on the yhwh name it sent me to other peoples profiles like say yours or the others i mentioned strange :confused

 

Hi rustyjack, I seen those posts too, and they won't be there long.. that is a spammer, and the powers that be will take care of him... This site is NO place for goofballs, and how he managed to get Halo's profile info, is beyond me... Some of those hackers can do some wild things..

I got an e-mail that had in it's subject line, "Please verify your e-mail" form someone I never heard of, and it was marked High Priority, but thankfully I have my AV that snatched it up and quarantined it for me.... My e-mail is very private, and I don't hand it out to just anyone, so that was my first red flag.... I am sure that the powers that be will take care of this character....

 

Yeah thats the one Tim all the posts were saying paypal is owned by the mafia don't worry i never opened any of the links and as for people asking for details off me like TeeCee said, there's no chance of that its like getting blood out of a stone.

Isn't YHWH one of the names used several hundred years ago when people thought it was blasphemy to say the name of God?

Yahweh is the spelling as I recall.

 

Oh yeah, I have seen that character post a few times, and what is so catchy is it is always the same old line, like TimW said... No, I don't click onto any of his links, or even reply to them.. Seems to me to be some kid who can't spell, because he puts the www at the end of the supposed site LOL Oh, the children, they too must learn I guess...rolleyes

 

Well, shoot...now that it was bugging me and I have too much free time, let me complete the total hijack of this thread.

YHWH was the spelling (or YHVW, or JHWH) in the original Hebrew. The pronunciation was Yahweh, which then became the spelling. I spent a bit of time looking it up, but I probably shouldn't make this a religious discussion. :-o

 

Ah, don't worry about it Sgt.Tibbs. I think TimW has taken care of him, at least for now.. Not to worry tho, his kind just comes back again and again, like Tim has said, he has dealt with him before..... He will just figure out a different spelling... He should be doing something constructive, like mowing the lawn or doing dishes!! LOL
