Is this video card worth it?

Ok, so I know next to nothing about video cards... or really nothing about the internal workings of a computer. All I know is that my friend told me that if I where to upgrade my video card, it would increase the performance of the PC (keep in mind this computer is mostly used for gaming and multimedia purposes).
I currently have a NIVIDA GeForce2 MX/MX 400 (I think that is what it is called, but I could be wrong). Would purchasing a XFX nVidia GeForce FX 5200 for $95 be worth the money?

Here is all the info on the FX 5200 that this website gives me:

    ---Performance---
    GPU/VPU: nVidia GeForce FX 5200
    RAMDAC: Dual 350 MHz
Fill Rate per Second: 1 Billion texels
    Vertices per Second: 63 Million
    ---Memory---
    Video Memory: 256MB
    Memory Type: DDR
    Core Clock: 250 MHz
    Memory Clock: 33 MHz
    Memory Bandwidth: 6.4GB/sec.
    ---Connections---
    Interface Type: AGP
    Interface Speed: 8X
    Connector(s): DVI, TV/S-Video, VGA

Sorry, I know this is a very noobish question, but I don't know a thing about cards and I'm assuming you do. Tell me if I need to provide more info.
    Thanks!

from your old card it is certainly an upgrade, eventhough the card is still NVidia's low-budget card, it will enhance your gaming experience.
