is this xp sp2 full or beta ?

I'm not sure if i've got service pack 2 beta or full beacuse someone told me it was a beta thought i'd ask u lot,the expert LOL. This is what it says when i typed in winver;

Version 5.1 (Build 2600.xpsp_sp2_rc1.040311-2315: Service Pack 2, v.2096

IF this is isn't the full version, would I have 2 download it from the microsoft website?

 

That is the old BETA version. You need to uninstall this version from Add/Remove and then download the final release from windows updates.

So uninstall then go there you will have the options for service pack 2.

do I need 2 uninstall beta first?

because I cant find it in Add/Remove programs

 

Look in Add/Remove Programs, be sure you have the "Show Updates" box checked.
