iSimple Gateway ISFD74 Direct Connect iPod Kit Ford

I need some help
I have a 2010 ford fusion and it comes with a cd changer that has controls to adjust volume/cd track on the steering wheel.
I have lots of CDs, but tons of MP3.

I want to use my Ipod Touch to play songs in my car and still use my steering wheel controls.

I was told this gadget, iSimple Gateway ISFD74 Direct Connect iPod Kit Ford, will do just that

I was told by the guy at Best Buy that it will work in my 2010 Fusion, but it only lists compatibility with 06-09\
so I assume he's wrong, what can I get that will do the same thing?
