Iso image opening

Hello everyone, I know how to open and extract an iso file. But if this iso is a movie, there are just a bunch of random files inside that can't be viewed. Is the only way to see this video to burn to a cd? I've read some about how people have been booting with a flash drive. Is there a program out there that allows you to just bypass both of those ways and view the desired files? Thanks

DVDFlick to burn to DVD to view movie, but do be cautious of p2p downloads as not only illegal but some have malware as an add-on!!

A virtual drive in computing is a drive that to the operating system appears to be an ordinary physical disk drive, with disc reading hardware substituted with disc images, through the use of software sometimes called a disk emulator.

Virtual drives are typically read-only, being used to mount existing disk images which are not modifiable by the drive. However some software provides virtual CD/DVD drives which can produce new disk images; this type of virtual drive goes by a variety of names, including "virtual burner".

Some newer players will support directly opening an .iso file.
I know VLC Media player will do this for sure, and another DVD software (cant remember if it was powerdvd, windvd or what) but it would play directly .iso files ... so you dont have to worry about mounting anything or extracting anything. Just load that .iso and go from there.
