issue removing spyware that auto opens default webrowser to www.webthangs.com

Hi there!

i appear to have a piece of malware on my computer that spybot & AVG don't seem to pick up, or be able to remove

every 15mins or so and at start-up my web browser opens upto xxx.webthangs.com

im sort of at wits end here, and quite surprised i've not been able to remove it.

any assistance will be greatly appreciated!

i'm running windows vista 64 and will gladly give any information requested.
