Issue with Sharing Folders Wirelessly

I have set up my home computer to share the printer with my wireless laptop. this works fine. I also am sharing a folder from the laptop which I AM able to open and work with on my desktop.

HOWEVER, I am not able to get into my shared folder from my laptop thats on the desktop. I get an "access denied" error message. I have looked over all of my permissions, the laptop name is not in the shared permissions box, and it does not let me add it..I also tried disabling the firewall and this does not work either..
