Issues going on in life

These are just issues going on in my life that are hard.

My mom last night had to go to mental health at about 1am as she was acting very weird and saying weird stuff. She woudn't go on her own accord so me and my dad had to call the police and they convinced her to go.

She came back home a few hours later and they said she was ok. I think this was due to the fact she thought there is a good chance may loose her job. Alot of stress in her life

My dad's back is still having issues.

Her mom is crazy and stressing her out by trying to force her other adult son from another relationship into my house who called and threaten me and my dad a month ago that got dealt with.

 

Aw thats not good news to hear.. But let me tell you.. your not alone.. I got some people in family.. like that.. They go to mental place.. and they get taken out for saying there not going to hurt themself.. when right when they get out they try to harm themself! But this doesnt sound like your family.. it just seems like your mom could use some peice and quite for a little time.

 

Well a week ago she did take a knife to her wrist and screamed.

 

Well I am not the one to say sorry your family has some people that is sick... mental.. just totally messed up atm.. I got family that does the same thing but they really do attempt the things... if she not cutting her self each day.. then something wrong.. or hanging from things.. or gun.. or many things.. even on medicine but doctor and medicare/medicade wont pay for anything so she cant afford it..

 

I am so sorry to hear about your mom and I hope that she is better soon and that she can get some help dealing with the stress she is under!

 

Hey Pclover have you and/or your dad taken your mom to a doctor to see if maybe she's depressed ? My doctor told me that stress and worrying about things so hard can cause you to become depress and if not corrected some are known to have a nervous break down. Mind I'm not saying THAT IS the problem just that you might want to have her see a doctor to get a professional opinion before something bad happens. In the meantime I'll get the Prayer Worriers on the move for you and your family.

Sad to hear that, i also have friends whos story the same like you, But the difference is that her mom is getting harm so they decided to bring her in mental. But till now her mom still no improvements shes in 3 years stayed in that place. According to the doctor its causes due to stress, problems, or maybe genetic. So while there is still time to cure see the doctor for some advice.

 

Hi pclover, that is tough to go thru, and I wonder, too, if your Mom should be checked by a good Dr.. She may not even be aware of what she is saying at times... Some aren't... It is so sad.... Oh, it could be depression, or any number of MANY things.. Yeah, stress can do a number on the body, for sure... See if you can get her in to get checked by a DR... Maybe he can help figure out why she is so mixed up.. Hey, it is a start..

I'm so sorry PC, my son is in Santa Cruz somewhere and what help he got was non existent.
He broke down and for months he was seeing someone at mental who washed their hands of him claiming he would not admit to being mentally ill, which is ironic being that is the main symptom of an ill person.

I would suggest you keep calling asking for help from the mental people. As for the threats from her other son I hope you reported him? Keep doing so every time he does.
I feel so bad for you, it's a terrible thing to deal with and there isn't much help out there.
