Issues With Avast Internet Security: Firewall

Less than a year ago I purchased a license for Avast Internet Security, mostly I bought it for the firewall so that I could actually have private browsing because I have no choice but to use a public wifi and the wifi I believe has a parental advisory or some kind of setting like that on it. When I first started using the avast once it was activated I had no problems with accessing the sites that I wanted to with no problems but for the past three months or so I have had issues like when I try to go to one of the sites I get blocked by the advisory on the wifi. At that point I went into the program and I selected the option on the firewall to turn off until restart of computer so at that point I restarted the computer and once it came back to the desktop and I opened up my browser and attempted to access the site I was trying to get to it worked, so every time that my firewall seemingly stopped working I went through the same process each time and it worked every time until this most recent time. A little over an hour ago I tried to access one of the sites and I got stopped so I closed my browser and opened Avast I then set the firewall to turn off until computer start then once I closed avast and made sure everything else was closed then restarted the computer, pretty normal for every time this happens, once the computer came back up I opened my browser and attempted to go to the same site and was once again blocked. So I do not know what is going on with the Avast program and the built in firewall, if anyone can help me with this issue I would appreciate it. Thank you

I won't be able to help you, since I neither use Avast nor Wifi.
Before anyone else can help, you should provide system details:
    1. Operating system you are using.
    2. Make and model of your computer.
    3. Browser you are using and any addons/extensions it uses to block sites/adds, etc.
    4. Screenshot of the Wifi advisory.
"To capture such a screen shot, all you have to do is minimize any other windows first, just leaving the error message window, then together press alt + PrtScr, then open PAINT and press ctrl+V and save that image as jpeg to your desktop, then in the message window here at bottom right choose 'UPLOAD A FILE'." (from a post by Max)

Hopefully, someone with more knowledge than me, will answer this thread. Good luck

Added information for my original post: my laptop is an ASUS model A53U, OS is Windows 10, and I am using Firefox version 54.0.1 (32-bit) as my browser most of the time and the only "add ons" I am using is a pop up blocker.

Firstly, private browsing is available in all web browsers, including Firefox without a Firewall setting.
    I suggest the following:
Making sure you have your paid-for Avast Licence Key stored somewhere, do a full and clean uninstall of Avast using a good uninstaller such as either or the free versions of Revo Uninstaller or IoBit Uninstaller and whichever one, make sure you run their 'advanced' or 'powerful' scan options. Delete all found then restart your system.
Now run the Avast Clear program to remove any remaining traces.
Restart your system and Windows inbuilt Firewall will automatically be enabled.
If you still get blocked from some websites, then it is probably settings in the public WiFi you are using and you can then reinstall Avast.

The website you're trying to access is an adults only site. (I won't go into detail...)
That's why, by default, Avast is blocking it.

Looks like your ISP is blocking it.

I agree that the ISP that runs what you say is a 'public' WiFi system will automatically BLOCK access to Adult websites, or any considered unsafe.
If for whatever reason you can't subscribe to a residential plan for the internet, then why not buy a WiFi data dongle. You pay for a chosen amount of monthly data usage and they are now cheaper than ever. You can check on any website of the big carriers with your Zip/Post Code to see if you have access to that.

Thanks for the help all, I uninstall and re-installed my avast and I have had no problems since I did that.
