Issues with MS Outlook 2010

Wondering if anyone on here has some good advise or knowledge of MSO2010 to assist....

Purschased a full copy of MSO 2010 and installed without any glaring issues but I have been having issues with it ever since and find it very hard to find/get ANY support online relating to these issues even more specifically to this product. Even Microsoft is limited and, of course, not offering any free or limited time support to answer the simpliest of questions.

So here is what's been happening...
I am in a position where I get emails with attachments of various types. Sometimes I am able to click on the email and save the attachment (w/o preview pane on) with no problem at all. Then there are those emails that I try to save the attachment and Outlook will crash and re-boot itself. This can occur repeatedly with the same email, so luckily, I still have my older version (2000) installed and can go there and save the attachment easily.
Then there is sending attachments via email directly out of the program (ie Adobe PDF)... sometimes that link is working, sometimes it doesn't.

Now... I have read one online "help" relating to this issue where you ask the sender to re-name the attachment and then once you get it saved onto your system, you simply go and re-name back to the original filename.

But I have also run into other hiccups that may or may not be linked to an "add-in" component. I did purchase a big MS Outlook 2010 tech book which a) have yet to really look at; b) when I have referred to it does not answer my question well enough; c) has no solution to that (or this) problem.

I have also noticed that (at times) it seems that this version of the program takes time to "warm-up" once started because the problem(s) then seems to smooth itself out after a while. But then again, I have also notice that the problems seem to be very random as to when it will be an issue and when it won't.... damn perplexing.

So... anyone out there experiencing similiar issues/problems with MSO2010? I hope so as I would like to open a line of communication to discuss the stability issues I am having.
