iternet dropping same time every day

Hi, i live in the UK and my ISP is AOL, i also play world of warcraft which is where im noticing the issues most.

Between 5 and 11 every day for the past week my ingame ms will increase from 150 - 800 and become unplayable, i phoned up customer support who told me they are not throtelling my line and that it could be my router and to check my MTU is 1400

I have no idea what this MTU is or how to change it, any help would be appreciated

 

Getting line stats from your router.

From a quick search, it looks like this problem has occurred since the patch 3.2.2 was installed, it's a long read, currently at 19 pages.
