my first build took place a year ago and have came a long ways. My asus m2n32sli deluxe resides in an aspire case running on 780w power supply. The amd am2 4200+ (2.2ghz) stock is OC to 2.739 and cooled by a zalman 9500 fan. And heres the issue it idles at like 45 -48c. With extra fans on the case and even a hard drive fan temps got me worried. Now even with out a OC cpu temps are not much lower. Should i worry let me know. I score a 5.3 on vistas overall index. i watch specs on everest ultimate trail edition and nvidia monitor. mother board is at 37c, gpu1 54c, gpu2 46c and also vcore voltage is only 1.472v.

I wouldn't be too concerned about 45-48c temps. However, it would be best to try a few things to see if you can bring the temps down by a few degrees.

You could get some 'tie backs' and tie all cables up, this will effectively knock one or two degrees off, maybe more. Get a can of compressed air and spray inside your system, as dust can also be one of the problems for overheating. If you have your computer near a wall, bring it forward a little, so it's 10-15cm a way from the wall, as this allows more air flow.

Your GPU is fine, as they tend to be hot anyway, however there are a lot of small things you can do to bring temps down a little, and all for FREE.
