It's Done, Thanks Bold Eagle!!

I finally finished that memory cooler project that you gave me the link for in the other thread, and it DID make a difference!! The clearance between the mem cooler and the CPU heatsink is only about 1\16", but I noticed that my CPU temps dropped 4 degrees C and the MB temps dropped 3 degrees C. (fans at middle setting) So, this little project not only keeps the RAM cooler, but also benefits the whole machine. The only problem I had was finding the long screws that would fit into the standoffs, but I finally found a little 'puter shop in Flowood that had them for $.25 apeice, so I bought $5.00 worth!! Hey, who knows, I may need some later on!!

At first, I didn't really feel that I needed a mem cooler with 3 120's running at high (the 4th is dedicated to the HDD and PSU) but for the difference it made in temps and the lowwww cost, it was well worth it.

The only difference between those pictures and my setup is that I used blue and red fans!! My MB is a Gigabyte, as is the one in the pictures. The only other real difference is that rather large heatsink he has!!

Sorry that I couldn't post pictures of my machine but, like I said, I have no idea on how to do it!!
