It's getting warmer!!!

Is it just me, or has the temperature suddenly soared up in the UK today??!!! I've heard it's going to be at least 28c tomorrow - yeeouch!

 

definately. I went shopping today in Reading, and eventually it got so hot the stores were cooler then outside!

 

So YOU'RE the ones who have taken our summer away!!!! Shoot, it's been cold enough to sleep under a comforter and close the windows at night for the last few days. That ain't right!

Last week, we were in the 90s (32+C), now we're down in the low 60s (17C). BAH!

 

I'll take 15, even 20 if you want! I would far rather be hot than cold.

I'm feeling ok, I guess. Still not able to work much, getting a new doctor Monday, been applying for *gasp* "real" jobs, and still getting nowhere. I did, however, win an election to represent my union local at the international convention in Honolulu next month, so at least I'm getting to take a "vacation" this year instead of just sitting home doing nothing.

 

Ahhhh!!! Summer's here!! Supposed to be in the 100's (38 - 40C) BEFORE the humidity by Sunday...

I know that that hot weather sucks for y'all that aren't used to it, but I love it!!

But then, I was born and raised in it.

 

I wish it were cooler, and going to Spain at the end of July where we've seen it reach 50c before - ouch!
Off to bed now, let's see if I can actually get to sleep!!!

 

Summer is so NOT here. What the heck is going on? I've been accused of bringing the British weather with me!
