It's my anniversary today

I've been married 2 years now, and just wanted to share that with all who read this thread.. My wife joined last week to place high scores in the arcade, I don't know that she's been back the last few days. Anyhow, marriage is pretty cool. :cool

Hello and Congratulations to you both.

I hope you will accept this small piece of advice from an e-stranger. No matter how busy both your lives get, never, never, never be too busy to spend time together, that is part of how you fell in love and will help you to remain in love with each other. Yes I think I'm qualified to speak on this topic, I 've seen both sides of this fence I am currently - 16 + years married and still very happy this time around.

Actually Yesterday (5/19) was 1 year for my brother... I imagine there are people married longer.. My parents have been for 30 years coming in November.

27+ years for me. But the last six sort of don't count. (I was pretty young at the time).

 

Congrats Pax and Mel... Sounds like you got a great thing going on there. Hope yo have many many many many more happy years together.

Personally, I think that the best way to have a great relationship/marriage is to make sure that while you have plenty of things you do together, also make sure that you each have your own thing too... those little 'you time' things make you appreciate being together even more.
