Itune setup fails each time

I need itunes in order to run EZ vinyl tape recorder software
I downloaded itunes then ran the setup but each time it fails giving error message
"Error getting file security
C:\ProgramData\188F1432-103A-4ffb-80F1-36B633C5C9E1\GetLastError: 5"
Then when I click ok it just undoes everything
I've tried altering security serttings within Windows explorer giving myself full control but that doesn't work either
There is only mine and guest account mine being Administrator
I'm running 32 bit Win 7
I'd apreciate any help in laymans terms please

 

Select the security tab for that folder, then click Advanced. Could you post a screenshot of the Permissions tab?

The permissions should be as attached, with Special permissions for Users (Select the Users group from the Effective Permissions tab) as follows:

• Traverse folder / execute file
• List folder / read data
• Read attributes
• Read extended attributes
• Read permissions
• Take ownership
