    Hi all!

My itunes is acting wierd cuz it can't find my files, both those on my harddrive and those on my external harddrive. This iz so wierd, the FILES ARE THERE. But it's insanely hard to find one, let alone finding the 300+ files I'm missing. Very few files are downloaded, so i can't redownload them.

is there any program that can just scour both harddrives and re-find the files my iTunes has but can't find?

Thanks to all the awesome ppl who answer!!!

Ipods can play files with the following file extensions: .aac, .m4a, .mp3, .m4a, .wav, .aiff. Have you tried searching your hard drive for files with this extension? Do you know which extension you use for your song files? A search will reveal where they are located.
