    HI

What Windows version you using? (helps to know as the steps for fixing maybe different from Xp to Vista)

What do you mean by no CD Burner? is it not listed as icon in My Computer, in My Computer but you cannot access.

Any error messages when trying to access the CD drive? if so what?

Likely issue is the upper and lower filters and this guide should help, once done reboot.

And if iTunes has left the Gear drivers this should help from Gear Software, plus again reboot once done.
