I have an 80GB iPod Classic and the latest version of iTunes. For reasons unknown to me, I occasionally receive errors while attempting to copy mp3's to my iPod claiming that they are not a supported audio format, when they clearly are. The files play perfectly fine in any other audio player.

I was wondering why this happens and if there is a fix for it (excluding re-encoding the files). Any help on the matter is greatly appreciated! :]
