Hey, I recently had a problem with malware on my computer and I ran through all the steps and got the problem solved. Now my computer is running perfectly. However, in the process of fixing my computer I was asked to remove java and when I went to open up iTunes it wouldn't open and I get this message: This action is only valid for products that are currently installed. It seems as if I need to reinstall iTunes and I was wondering if there is a way to fix it without doing that? Also, If I do end up having to reinstall iTunes will I be able to keep my music?

    Hi

It should not effect your library to uninstall and reinstall itunes (operative words being should not).

Do you have some sort of external hard drive so that you could back up your music just in case (which I would highly highly suggest your do anyway)?
