Itunes wont open....:(

    whenever I attempt to open itunes...I get the following meassages
    #1 : The application or DLL C:\ProgramFiles\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support\libxml2.dll is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.


    #2: iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows Error 193)
    I have tried uninstalling and re downloading and installing...and still get the same messages. I am at the end of my rope...and not sure what to do.
    I am running XP

    What Service Pack is your XP at?


    I would follow this HERE and uninstall all the Apple components as just uninstalling iTunes may not remove all the other installed applications, then run CCLeaner and its cleaner and registry options (run the registry one until nothing is listing for removal) reboot and re-install iTunes and .NET as per this HERE, but do so from the admin login.
