iTunes won't update

    Secunia has been telling me for 2-3 weeks that I need to update iTunes to version 10.6.1. I have tried through the link provided by Secunia and through iTunes itself. Can anyone suggest what may be causing this? It usually notifies me of any updates automatically but didn't this time. When I go to help>check for updates, it says I need an update but does nothing when I click on the update option.

    I successfully downloaded the installer through the link provided by secunia, three different times. The installer wouldn't open at at all. Just like when I try on iTunes, iteself. I will try through MajorGeeks and let you know.
