Hey there, I seem to have a small problem but extremely annoying one nether the less.

Im not very familiar with iTunes but I think I know enough about it now to hate it with a passion but I need it for my ipod.. so it has to stay.

my question is: Is there an easy way to delete duplicated files? because everytime I open iTunes I will always see little exclamation marks beside the files saying could not find the file; and everytime it happens a duplicate will show up without the exclamation mark.. this file is the one that works.

So, to put it simply, I have about 5000 odd songs and this is really annoying having to go through each file and delete the dupe file or uncheck it otherwise it will sync with the ipod and show an error everytime it tries to copy a file that doesnt exist. Is there a way to stop this? if not, a way to easily delete files like these?

    Thanks in advance

You should be able to delete them from there. It'll show you both the dup and the one you want to keep, so make sure you only delete one.
