hey guys, i downloaded itunes today, and i live in residence at uni, so i share all my music with everyone in my building. so, pretty much all the time 5 users are connected to me listening to music. i was wondering if there's any way of expanding this limit of 5 users, like a crack or option or something.

can't you set the music folder in your documents as shared and then put it on the shared folders? are there 5 different computers networked into yours and then you connect to the internet?

The limit will only come to play, I believe, if you are sharing out Apple AAC files. If you are just sharing MP3's, there shouldn't be an issue.

If you are sharing AAC files, there is a way to get around the DRM, but it is certainly not legal. :)

nope, i got no aac files, and there are a whole residence's computers networked to mine. sometimes when i'm trying to connect to another user, it says it can't connect to them because it says: "they are not accepting connections now. try again later"

therefore it makes me think that even though i'm trying to listen to mp3s, which should be okay, i still think there is a limit in the program that stops more than five different people connecting to one user.

    any ideas?
