I have unistalled Quick Time and iTunes, but iTunes remains in my Add/Remove list.

    How to get rid?

    Thanks.

If you are using Windows 9x, download TweakUI which has an option to remove entries.

If it's XP, then go to Start, Run, and typing in regedit

    Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall.

There will be a bunch of directories underneath the Uninstall directory.

Right click on the one(s) that you wish to delete, and hit "Delete".

This registry edit should work with Me, 98, and 95 as well if you like.

I had similar problems and used this freeware to isolate and remove them. Be careful with it because it can cause other problems. It allows you to clean your registry among other things.

The following link will get you to the download page.

    Good luck. ;)
