I've noticed something...

When your computer isn't working right, the worst thing you can do is panic. It doesn't help any, and can even make things worse. :cool

 

No, the worst thing you can do is pitch it in the river! LOL

 

I used to freak out when the box would not work right. So I now have extra computers, so as long as I have power and interweb, I am happy.

But it is so satisfying to destroy defective computer parts with a sledge hammer. But diagnosing one is best done when calm. :-D

 

Been there and done that, now I just give PC a really mean look and think back to what I last did to give it a hissy fit, 5 min. later all fixed *smiles* You have to glare at it and threaten it prior to the fix for it to work *grins*
