I disabled my add-ons, I could browse at super speed! I installed new Java (using your recommendations), my computer is slow again. I used ccleaner and I disabled Java, computer is still slow.

well being as you already have Ccleaner installed take a look at Tools > Start up and Just *look* at what you have listed there...if there is an awful lot..you will be needing to download a start up manager to control what runs @ start up. Let us know.....take a screenshot of what is listed in Tools > start up and attach it in your next post

    HI

As well as doing what Kes posted above also give us some info on the below:

What Windows version and is it fully upto date?
    Which Browser are you using?

As your first bit of post is slow browsing, what is your internet service and paid for speed?

    Thank you for your replies.
I've used "Start-up Inspector" and cleaned out what I "think" I don't need.
I have Window XP 32bit and believe it is up to date. I've downloaded critical security downloads. I use Windows Internet Explorer through ATT dial-up, the cheapest....
    Thank You again
