Java Error Messages on Desktop

    All of a sudden after the new version of Java loads I am getting notepad icons on my desktop like hs_err_pid followed by a number. I uninstalled the old Java and did a clean install. My desktop is filling up with these icons. I can not find a working solution online...Frustrated to say the least! Running XP SP3. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    I would suggest using system restore to before you nstalled the java update

    hi had the same problem so I uninstalled java then reinstalled to my desk top and then ran as administrator to install works fine now. should work for you too
