Java file corrupted.

I could not find from the recent post as shown above. I am asking for help regarding Java. I have installed Java SE Runtime Environment 7u2, it seem it is giving some problem in certain program. The usual pop-up when a program start is missing now. I have tried as they suggested to uninstall and reinstall java, but could not done it properly. It seem now my computer is slowing down when I open a web page or some application. I do hope someone can guide me how to completely remove it and reinstall, (if there is no other choice).

Uninstall Java as usual
Download JavaRA and un-zip it
Launch JavaRA (it does not need to be installed)
Select to delete everything
Run JavaRA
I would now restart the computer but it's up to you
Install the latest version of Java

I could only find JavaRA version 2.0 Beta at MajorGeeks

Thanks for all who have reply. I wish to uninstall all the java program in the C/program files folder, which at present is over 500MB. (jdk1.6.0_26, jre1.6.0_07, jdk1.7.0_02, jre7 and jre6 this are now in the folder ) The question is should I uninstall all the java version and reinstall the latest, will it effect other applications, and which version of Java should I install to my computer. Thanks.
