Good morning, running XP Home SP2
What is the correct way to manage Jave updates? I note that when Java updates, previous updates are not automatically removed, and they take up a lot of space. Just updated and currently I show
    J2SE runtime environment 5.0 Update 11 (146MB)
    Java (TM) 6 update 2 (133mb)
    Java (TM) 6 update 3 (133MB)
Java (TM) SE runtime Environment 6 update 1 (159MB)
Do I need all of these. I would seem that I could delete run time 5 because Run time 6 is there, then delete update 1 and 2 for Run Time 6 because 3 is there?

Yes, you can delete all but the most recent version.
