    I have searched and cannot find a thread with an answer to my question. I'm sorry if I have overlooked one. I uninstalled all of my old java versions and installed new java 6 update 14. My question is...along with the java 6 update 14 another "thing" installed too called "Java SE development kit 6 update 14". I'm an idiot about these things. I was wondering if this extra was necessary because it is taking up 136.58 MB. The java 6 update 14 takes up 97.46 MB. I need as much space as I can get.

    Hello There,

    Im afraid it is necessary in installing both these programs as it is needed for java to work properly otherwise you will experience java problems.

    What size hard drive have you got fixed in?
