JavaRa & Pure Ra

JavaRa is NOT new; ver 1.5 has been around since July 15, 2009.

What is new is PureRa; ver 1.5 was released February 21, 2010

Download listed as new for 2/22/2010 is for old JavaRa; should be for new PureRa.

 

JavaRa targets old java files that the new versions of Java would not remove or overwrite. PureRa targets Windows files. Since Java started removing old files and versions of Java (I think it was Java 6 Update 13) JavaRa has not needed to update. It is still useful though because many people have multiple versions of old Java on their systems.

The downloads server went down a while back and not everything was put back the way it was and it is difficult for them to find every broken link without our help. I've reported a few myself.

 

I did that last week, but there seems to have been confusion,
and I was not sure if Tim was having a long weekend break.
Gone past my bedtime now so I will email again tomorrow.
