Jaycar Techview IP Camera QC 3834

I can login to the camera interface at the ip address on my LAN. Then a pop up box appears and says: "The server http://xxx.xxx.xx.xxx:xx requires a username and password. The server says: ipcamera_00xxxxxxxxxx". It requires a username and password to be entered.

Help please. I don't know what to enter.

 

Try User: admin password: password, admin or leave it blank and hit enter

 

Thanks. It turns out the camera had another password set in it. I couldn't get passed it so returned the camera and swapped for another one.

This camera is pretty tricky to set up if you are not IT savvy. Once set up and running it seems to work well and do what it says.

 

I too am having touble setting one of these up. Cannot get either the Email or FTP server setup to work. Browser just halts for a long time on pressing the Test button, and nothing comes through on either email to my address or ftp to my Web site. Have tried both separately, and together, but no joy.

Any tips would be welcome

 

Mine is sitting in my drawer. I disconnected it once and couldn't be bothered going through the hassle of setting it up again. Now I wouldn't know how. I recommend taking it back and paying more for one that you can use.

If you are researching for cameras I wouldn't recommend this at all. :cry
