Jccatch.dll safe?

Is jccatch.dll safe to allow or is it even needed really? I am using FlashGet have been able to dl properly (at least it seems like it), but a jccatch.dll popup from WinPatrol keeps coming up asking whether or not to allow this program to connect to the net. Any answers????

The process jccatch.dll belongs to the software jccatch module by Amaze Soft (the developers of FlashGet). This is considered to be a "legitimate" BHO (jccatch.dll) which is related to FlashGet. The Jccatch.dll plug-in is needed for Flashget integration with Internet Explorer.

In short: The BHO is required if you want FlashGet to catch IE 'clicks' allowing it to jump into action when you click a download link. If you disable or remove the jccatch.dll; when you click on a download link FlashGet will not start automatically.

Note: jccatch.dll is rated as a legitimate (L) item by the CastleCops Team which maintains the Master BHO and Toolbar list. By legitimate it means it is not considered to be spyware, or any other malware "threat."
